Topic : Python Games Development in 60 minutes (Mini Sprint)
Instructor : Morgan Heijdemann
Synopsis :
This is a mini sprint (hands-on) on Python programming in games for beginners (yes!) or advanced programmers. By the end, you will see how fast and capable python is for developing games. We assure you that it willl be fun.
IMPORTANT
Pre-requisites : Bring your laptop computer for this mini sprint.
Installations : Please have python 2.5/2.6 and pyglet 1.1.3 installed. (http://www.pyglet.org/download.html)
Topic : Python Programming on Your Browser
Speaker : Liew Beng Keat
Synopsis :
This talk introduces IronPython, a Python implementation that runs on the .NET framework and Mono. Silverlight is a browser plug-in, which has CoreCLR and DLR, through which it is possible to create dynamic applications and natively script the browser with Python.
